I don't make my own "sweet bread" I buy it, and slice it really thick, layer it w/lots of butter and grill it on a griddle for their favorite breakfast food. It melts in your mouth. This portuguese sweet bread is like "Hawaiian Bread" for I believe this sweet bread can only be purchased here in southeastern MA. But if you google "portuguese sweet bread", you'll find lots of recipes.
